What’s included
- Delivery and set-up at your address — usually 15-20 mins on arrival
- Anchor pegs for grass set-up (or sandbag weights for hardstanding)
- Blower fan with extension cable — runs off any standard 13A socket
- Same-day collection at the agreed time (usually evening)
- PAT-tested electricals and current PIPA test certificate available on request
- Public liability insurance — £5m cover
Safety — the bit that actually matters
You must supervise the castle at all times. That’s the legal bit and the bit we can’t do for you. We’ll talk you through the rules on set-up: max number of kids on at once, age groups don’t mix, no shoes, no food/drink, no rough play. The bouncy castle code is common sense made formal.
If your event needs a dedicated supervisor (school fêtes, big charity events, fundraisers), we can supply one for an additional fee. Ring to discuss.
We don’t set up in wind over 24mph (Force 5) or in heavy rain — Health and Safety guidelines, no compromise. If forecast looks marginal we’ll ring you on the morning to discuss reschedule or refund.
Set-up and collection
- Set-up time: typically 15-20 minutes from arrival. We need clear access to the garden and a 13A socket within ~30m.
- Space needed: the castle footprint plus 1m clearance on every side. So a 12ft x 12ft castle needs roughly 15ft x 15ft of clear flat lawn.
- Surface: grass is ideal (anchor pegs grip). Hardstanding is fine with sandbag weights — let us know in advance.
- Collection: end of the day, usually between 5pm and 7pm depending on bookings. Confirmed on the call.
Hire duration
- Standard day hire: drop in the morning (8am-11am), collect that evening (5pm-7pm). Typical kids’ party slot.
- Half-day hire: for shorter events (school fêtes, charity stalls). Let us know.
- Multi-day hire: discounted rate if you want it for the whole weekend. Useful for outdoor weddings or festivals.
